Bus Jam: Traffic Escape is developed by Ashlytic Labs LLP. Questions about privacy: [email protected].
We (Ashlytic Labs) do not collect any personal information that identifies you. The game has no accounts. To understand how the game is played and to fix crashes, it uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (Google services): they record app interactions (for example levels played, coins earned and spent, ads watched), in-app purchase events (the item and price, never payment details), crash reports and device diagnostics, together with a random app-instance ID. This is not linked to your name or any account. Google's privacy information for Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch one for a booster, coins or a bonus) and, from level 15, a short bonus ad between some levels (at most one every second win): a screen tells you the reward and starts the ad after a few seconds, and you can tap Skip to go straight to the next level. Buying No Ads or the Ad-Free Bundle removes the ads between levels; rewarded ads stay optional. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google: your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from your IP address), app interactions (for example ad views and taps) and diagnostics (crash and performance data). This is used for advertising, ad measurement and fraud prevention, and is sent encrypted. Learn how Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Ad partners. To fill an ad, Google AdMob may run an auction among other ad networks whose software is inside the game. The ad you see can come from any of them: Unity Ads (Unity Technologies, https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy), ironSource Ads (Unity Technologies, https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy), Liftoff Monetize (Liftoff/Vungle, https://liftoff.ai/privacy-policy/), Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/), AppLovin (https://legal.applovin.com/privacy/), InMobi (https://advertising.inmobi.com/privacy-policy/), Mintegral (https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy), Pangle (Bytedance, https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy/enduser-en), Moloco (https://www.moloco.com/terms-and-policies/advertising-policy), DT Exchange (Digital Turbine, https://www.digitalturbine.com/legal/dt-clients-privacy-policy), BidMachine (https://www.bidmachine.com/privacy-policy), BIGO Ads (https://www.bigoads.com/privacy) and Chartboost (https://docs.chartboost.com/en/legal/privacy-policy/). To show, measure and protect ads, each of them may collect and receive your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), interactions with ads, device and app diagnostics (such as device model, OS version, network type and app performance) and, for some networks, a record of in-app purchases made in the game. The game never asks for your precise location. All data is sent encrypted. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, your choice in the game's consent message is passed to every network. You can ask any of these companies to delete data about your device through its policy above.
Your choices: in the EEA, UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change it any time from the game. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Settings › Google › Ads.
You can buy coins and boosters in the game's shop, and open the Piggy Bank (it collects coins as you win; opening it is a purchase). Payments are handled entirely by Google Play: we never see your card, UPI or other payment details. Google gives the game a signed confirmation of the purchase (the item and an order number), which the game checks on your device to deliver the item. Google Analytics for Firebase and some ad partners receive a record that a purchase happened (item and price), never payment details. Google's privacy policy covers the payment: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The game downloads new levels from our server (hosted on Cloudflare). These requests carry no personal information; like any web request they include your IP address, which Cloudflare may keep briefly in its standard logs for security. We do not use it to identify you.
If you allow notifications, the game shows at most one reminder a day (for example when your free Supplies are ready), and none after 7 days without playing. Half of players get two extra reminders (on day 5 and day 7) so we can learn whether they help; this uses only a random number stored on your device. These reminders are scheduled on your device and send nothing anywhere. The game can also receive occasional announcements, such as new levels, through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. For this, Firebase gives your installation a random token (a device or other ID) that is sent to Google so messages can be delivered. It is not linked to your name or any account, and it is used only to deliver notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device's Settings › Apps › Bus Jam › Notifications. Your progress (current level, coins, boosters, piggy bank, Supplies and Lucky Spin timers, and settings such as sound) is saved on your device. A copy of the essentials (level, coins, piggy bank, No Ads) is also kept in Google Block Store, part of your phone's own Google backup, so you can continue after a reinstall or on a new phone when Backup is on. It stays in your Google account; we cannot read it.
The game asks for one permission: notifications (Android 13 and later), and only after you tap "Yes" on the game's own Reminders card. Saying no changes nothing in the game. It also uses vibration for haptic feedback.
The game is not directed at children under 13.
If a future version changes what is collected, we will update this policy before that version is released.
